Disinfectants Testing

Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics are used for chemical or chemothermal disinfections and applied for hand and skin disinfection, surface disinfection, instrument disinfection, textile disinfection etc. Efficient disinfectants and antiseptics can be listed e.g. at the Verbund für Angewandte Hygiene (VAH), at the Robert-Koch-Institut (RKI) or at the Deutsche Veterinärmedizinischen Gesellschaft (DVG), if specific requirements are fulfilled.

We perform investigations as well as expert reports for listing desires or analyse in preinvestigations the germ reduction efficacy of disinfectants and antiseptics.

  • Quantitative suspension tests for the evaluation of the efficacy (phase I, e.g. DIN EN 1040, DIN EN 1275)
  • Quantitative suspension tests under conditions which are representativ for practical use (phase II, step I, e.g. DIN EN 1276, DIN EN 1650, DIN EN 1656, DIN EN 1657, DIN EN 13610, DIN EN 13623, DIN EN 13624, DIN EN 13704, DIN EN 13727, DIN EN 14204, DIN EN 14348, DIN EN 17126)
  • Laboratory investigations which simulate practical conditions (phase II, step II, e.g. DIN EN 1499, DIN EN 1500, DIN EN 12791, DIN EN 16616, DIN EN 12791, DIN EN 13697, DIN EN 14349, DIN EN 14561, DIN EN 14562, DIN EN 14563, DIN EN 16437, DIN EN 16438, DIN EN 16615)
  • On-site investigations with practical conditions
